Date: Sunday, February 24, 2013

Location: North End Boat Launch, Lake Redstone, Wisconsin

Tournament Registration – At Hartje Farm, Home & Sports: S1428A State Road 33, La Valle, Wisconsin or at the North End the day of the tournament Headquarters – North End boat launch on Lake Redstone.

Registration will begin at 5:30am. Anglers may begin drilling holes by 6:30.  Fishing begins at 7am.  All anglers must be back at the launch by 1pm for the weigh-in.

Ice Fishing Format - 2 man teams. $50 dollar entry per team. Total weight of 6 biggest crappie & 6 biggest bluegill. Cash Payout for 1st and 2nd place teams, as well as for big fish.

Details: Registration for the event is $25 per person – TICKETS WILL BE LIMITED TO 500 THIS YEAR. This includes dinner, admission to the event and automatic entry into the prize drawings. Participants may pick up their ticket packet prior to 2 PM at The Landing.

In order to have an accurate number for food preparation ALL registrations must be in advance.

NO ADMISSION TICKET PURCHASES ALLOWED THE DAY OF THE JAMBOREE, SO PLEASE REGISTER AT: http://www.lake-link.com/ice/

Itinerary:

  • 6:00 AM Ticket pickup opens at The Landing. (See ticket registration deadlines at link above.) NOTE: You need to pick up your ticket anytime between 6AM and 2PM. You must have your ticket prior to registering a fish or to eat dinner or for the prize drawings.
  • 3:00 PM All fish must be registered to qualify for fishing contest.
  • 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM Food will be served at The Gathering.
  • 4:00 PM Prize give-a-ways.
  • 5:00 PM – ? Stick around, socialize and meet Lake-Linkers at the post event party.

PRIZES
Last year we had thousands of dollars in prizes and this year will be no different. There will be a lot of great prizes given out! We will be posting a link to the prize list as soon as we have it. So be sure to check back often!

ICE FISHING CONTEST
Each year we have some cash prizes for the largest fish caught each day in the following categories:

  • Northern, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Perch & Bluegill (First Place is $50 for each category, 2nd Place is $25 for each category)

Winning fish will be determined by weight. In the event of a tie prize winnings will be divided equally among winners. All decisions made by Lake-Link officials are final. Click here for current contest rules.

This year the La Valle Wisconsin Farmers Market will be bigger and better than ever.

With the addition of antiques, crafts, resale goods and rustic decor from the Cabin Shop shoppers will have a whole lot more to explore!

The Farmer’s Market will begin the Saturday of Memorial Weekend – May 26th and continue weekly until the last Saturday of October – the 27th.
